A Dose of Positive Reality: Tia and Tamera Start Shooting Season 2 of Reality Show
The first season of "Tia and Tamera" was a big hit for the twins and an even bigger plus for fans of the fun-loving duo, such as myself. Read more behind the scenes about the upcoming season of this family motivated reality show...
Tia Mowry-Hardrict and her equally beautiful twin, Tamera Mowry-Housley, are currently in front of the cameras filming their next season of "Tia and Tamera" a show centered around the twins and their wonderful personalities as they integrate work and family.
This series, featured on The Style Network, is a comedic relief and sort of euphoria for those tired of feeding into the dramatic scenes that other networks have been offering us lately. It's so good to see that not all black women are being negatively shown in the media or misrepresented.
I tuned in and was pleasantly pleased with last season of this show. So, I will definitely be watching again when it airs! I hope you will be supporting positive television as well.
I can't wait!

Can I ask an important question? What exactly constitutes being a REAL Christian? While I realize folks do make mistakes, no ones perfect, we shouldn't judge (although, the Bible says we CAN when it comes to the Word in certain circumstances), etc. How can we name the name of Christ in one breath while our 'lives' tell a different story??
ReplyDeleteI've been watching Tia and Tamera's show this season, and how been asking lots of questions when it comes to our 'walk with the Lord' from what I've seen such as: Tia's use of the word 'ass' from time to time. The women downing shots and other alcoholic drinks (and she's a 'wine distributor' for her husbands, and now her own, 'winery'), dancing in clubs, etc. So, might I ask how any of these actions further the message of the Gospel, especially since on Tamera's Twitter page she says, "Jesus is my homey"??? What am I missing here folks, or am I being too harsh? I continue to pray for All involved.
Jesus told us how to discover who a real Christian is so we never have to guess and you'd know if you read your bible he said we would know them by their fruits (actions).
DeleteAre you asking this question because people (Christians) have said they are/are not real Christians? You pointing out the drinking and swearing is not relevant. A Christian is some who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior but more importantly it's about that person's PERSONAL relationship with God. Jenna Jameson says that she is a Christian and has talked about her relationship and love for Christ and no one should be able to suggest otherwise because of her background. So when people say 'real Christian' based on their lifestyle that one sees or past actions/mistakes - that's ridiculous and they're most likely being judgmental.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I'm asking the question because it's about our "walk" with the Lord, and how that 'Glorifies' our Heavenly Father and the Savior, and does the world see the 'reflection' of the Father and Jesus when they see how we're living? Does our 'life' reflect that in which the Lord has 'called' us too, or are we letting the 'world' interfere and living for them instead? I don't know anything about Jenna Jameson, so I can't speak on her life. Folks, even Christians, keep saying, "Don't Judge" this or that but the Lord DOES let us judge, in certain circumstances that have to do with the way the Gospel is being presented.

ReplyDeleteRe: "Pointing out the drinking and swearing is not relevant", is that what the Bible says??? Well, the Bible points out various things about drinking, but this site points it out the best (http://www.radicallychristian.com/what-does-the-bible-say-about-drinking)straight and to the point. Some folks (even some christians) have said, "but Jesus turned water into wine", got it but does that call for those who say they love and 'serve' Him to drink alcohol in 'any form' then??
'Swearing not be relevant', if that's true then why are these verses in the Bible (http://www.openbible.info/topics/profane_speech)? When I heard Tia use the *sugar, honey, ice-tea* reference on one of their recent shows, it sent trimmers down my spine, especially since the shows are gaining even more viewers (teens as well). Please forgive me if it sounds like I'm standing in judgement of these women, I'm just thinking about how we're called to be 'light' to a world in darkness and 'salt' as well, but how can we do that when our lives start reflecting the "world" rather than 'The World'??? Have mercy Lord Jesus on us.
