Thanks to the social media website, Twitter and a few celebrity friends of this amazing couple, it has been reported that baby Carter has arrived this past weekend--and yes, it's a GIRL!
Beyonce Knowles-Carter and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter is an amazing couple in the entertainment industry that I love hearing about. They have successfully been together for years, and they've managed to stay as private as possible avoiding public scrutiny. They were together roughly six years before they finally married in April 2008.
If you are a true fan of either person, then you've probably been waiting anxiously for them to come full circle with their relationship and have a baby just as I have.
Well, they finally made our wish come true.
They just welcomed their first baby [together] into the world Saturday night, according to eonline and some celebs tweeting, such as Russell Simmons and "Aunty Ri-Ri" (Rihanna).
And as for the baby's name: Blue Ivy Carter. How precious!
They checked into a New York hospital where the whole 4th floor was reserved and renovated just for the birth of their baby. Talk about star power!
Beyonce first revealed she was pregnant at the MTV Video Music Awards back in August 2011. I still remember the feeling, looking at her reveal that little cute tummy and Jay-Z beaming as a proud husband and father. He recently was quoted saying:
"Your child could come to you and have any type of conversation. I always hope for that kind of open relationship,"
What an amazing couple, and I know they'll be amazing parents! Congrats Bey and Jay!
