Kanye and Kim: What's All the Hype Really About?

One of my many liked movies is Eat, Love, Pray starring Julia Roberts. It’s about a woman who searches for herself while traveling to many exotic and not so exotic places in the world.

While in a losing struggle to ignore the media frenzy regarding the alleged Kim Kardashian and Kanye West relationship, it dawned on me that Kim K. is the real world main character of Eat, Love, Pray.

Kim Kardashian is a woman searching for herself amidst the façade of stardom.

As much as I don’t care for the notorious antics of Kanye and Kim, I have empathy for them. See, Kim is looking for the next relationship that will stabilize her. Kanye is looking for the next relationship that will calm him because internally he knows that he can’t calm himself.

I don’t know Kanye or Kim. However, I can see from their actions in the media that they both long for a chance to just be loved unconditionally in the process of their self-searching without threat of character dissection from us. In Eat, Love, Pray there was a mention of “the physics of the quest” where a journey leads to self-discovery due to facing difficult realities about oneself and accepting the truth. That plot of the movie is so defining for the connection between the K’s.

Russell Simmons wrote an article about how he feels regarding this alleged connection of the famous duo on his website, Global Grind. I must say that I agree with his view point concerning the “hype” over them possibly being a couple.

This is where our thoughts intersect…

Kanye and Kim each have encountered dating struggles that led to a breakup which became more famous than the relationship itself…leaving us to wonder if the relationships that Kanye and Kim were separately involved in were really real—or reality TV worthy. So, I personally think it’s great that the K’s have encountered a balanced friendship with one another.

In a celebrity world where I’m sure it’s hard to determine who’s for you…or your money…maybe Kanye and Kim are finding balance between what people need from them and what they need from each other. Maybe it’s about their individual internal desires of unconditional love merging together. Just maybe they’ve found balanced love in one another.

In the words of Kim K, “You never know what the future holds.” I just hope the future holds a legal divorce for Kim and her ex, Kris Humphries, before she pursues anything really serious with Kanye.

HERE IS AN UPDATE:

Apparently the future holds smiles and hand holding for this duo. They've been spotted after writing this post, hanging out in NYC at different social events. I actually enjoy seeing them together. Something is telling me that they're good for one another. Maybe it's just me being in love with LOVE. Who really knows. Either way, I won't be speaking negatively about the K's.

Well, I guess they're really feeling each other. We will never know unless we wait years to see if they're still together. I'll be watching.
